dance to hard rock to easy listening, depending on the
venue.
Scott
moved to Nashville in the early 1990's. While
there, he opened for Emmylou Harris, Bruan Bowers,
Goose Creek Symphony and Suzy Bogguss. He also
shared the state with Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett,
Shelby Lynn, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Kathy Mattea
and Henry Gross. Scott was named Grand Prize
winner at the Gumtree Folk Festival, and was a
regular performer at Townes Van Zandt's bar in
Nashville.
Before leaving Nashville and returning home to
Virginia, Scott wrote and produced the songs on
his second album, "Short Stories." Two
of these songs were selected by Virginia-based
DCD Records in 1998 to appear on a compilation of
Shenandoah artists. - Scott Murray on YouTube.
Scott
Christopher Murray - acoustic guitar, vocals
Dean Salyn - piano, backup vocals
Richard Carter - drums, percussion
Ron Delavega - cello, fretless bass
Jack Pearson - electric guitar
Bo Deloach - acoustic guitar
My songs are a moment in
time for me, snapshots taken late nights in living rooms,
warehouses and studios all across Nashville. It has
always been my desire to tell stories and paint pictures
with the words and music I write. These short stories are
from my heart and hands. " - Scott Christopher Murray

When it comes right
down to it, we all want the same thing, right? To be
given a chance, to be heard, to be loved. To connect with
other humanoids on some level, however small, and find
reason to believe that we're not as alone as we sometimes
feel. To take our muse from the safety of the living room
to stages far from home, to find our voice and sing our
song . . .
OK, thus go the mental ramblings of an artist. Thanks to
Mark Barreres and Grassroots Networking for turning
dreams and ramblings into real results and even - dare we
say it - money. Yes, the "M" word. We in
Wild Blue Yonder are not afraid to say that we appreciate
being paid for our art, and Mark's "connect the dots"
system is already making that happen for us. We haven't
been affiliated very long, but already hits on our
website are up and new connections are being made daily.
Thanks so much, Grassroots Networking, for linking us up
in so many ways and so many places! We can't wait to see
what the future holds, to grow our relationships and to
tell more music biz people what great things you are
doing. - Philip Coward Wild Blue Yonder

We are
looking for musicians that want to share and start a
"USA Musician
House Concert Series". We get calls all the time
from musicans saying hey man we are passing though your
area and are looking to play a house concert and make
some money. At that point I ask them are you willing get
a house concert series going in your home town? That
question either ends the call up or they keep on talking
about how great they are and how it's all about them...
The question is how many musicians and business people
see outside the box? USA Musicians Networking Forum
Our goal is to bring
families and musicians together to celebrate life as a

Paul
Alexander is a singer, songwriter, psychotherapist,
author, actor and performing artist who has shared his
music and message of hope throughout the United States
and Canada.
Butterflies are
messengers of joy and life. This song is perfect
to enhance BUTTERFLY RELEASE CEREMONIES with an
elegantly designed 80 page book featuring the
lyrics, inspirational verses and award winning
photos. This inspirational and gift package will
bring hope and healing on the gentle wings of the
butterfly as it shares the wonders of its
transforming beauty. The single CD by ASCAP
award winner is haunting and calls us
all to find hope in a beautiful memorial
ceremony.
Paul's
music has been inspired and enriched through his
work as a Psychotherapist and Hospice Social
Worker. For over ten years Pauls
bereavement work was in a hospice for terminally
ill children journeying with the children and
their families through the dying and the grief
process. His grief work further moved into a
private practice and strongly influenced his
musical expression. His unique integration of his
artistry and sensitive awareness to the hurting
heart is what brings meaning to Paul Alexanders'
voice and music.
Hungry
for Music's goal in 2008 is to distribute 365 musical
instruments to individual children in need, school
programs, and after-school community centers. As of
September 1 , Hungry for Music has donated 224 musical
instruments to individuals, schools, and music programs.
Hungry for Music (HFM) began April 15,
1992 as an annual benefit concert to help the homeless.
The concerts were organized by Hungry For Music founder
Jeff Campbell, with the help of Washington, D.C.
area musicians and music organizations. The contrast of
street musicians and homeless street people led to the
initial concept of Hungry for Music - to assemble D.C.'s
best street musicians and other local musicians for a concerts to
benefit the homeless and underprivileged. The concert
had a dual purpose - to raise money and collect food for
the National
Coalition for the Homeless and to give street musicians some well
deserved attention and exposure. - Hungry For Music
Without the
following artists and companies, Hungry Fom Music
CD compilations couldn't be possible.
Hungry For Music
is a grassroots volunteer-driven 501 (c)(3) charity
organization with a nationwide and international outreach.
Hungry for Music's mission is to inspire underprivileged
children (and others) by bringing positive musical and
creative experiences into their lives. Since becoming a
non-profit in 1994, Hungry for Music has brought the
healing quality of music to thousands of people through
its musical instrument donations, concerts, and workshops.
We support our programs through memberships, benefit
concerts and events, raffles, and the sale of Hungry for
